Tsinghua University Research Institute for Economic Communication is a university-level interdisciplinary research center led by School of Journalism and Communication and School of Economics and Management, with the joint establishment of various departments of the school within the university. The center aims to integrate resources from all walks of life, promote information communication and cooperation among government, industry and enterprises, reflect the current state of communication of China's economic development and practice and improve its communication effect; enhance the economic influence of regions, industries and enterprise organizations, explore effective ways to achieve sustainable development, and build a world-class new type of think tank that demonstrates China's information discourse power and public opinion dominance in global economic development.
The center is mainly engaged in business organization communication, regional and urban economic communication direction, like national economic development policies communication, international business cooperation information communication, enterprise industry economic communication, management strategy communication, financial news reports, and so on. In these directions, the center plans to study these research topics and academic exploration, and the research will be collected and published in "Introduction to Economic Communication"and other monographs to promote the research on the communication law of economic issues and gear up the rational discussion on the influence of economic development at all levels of international, governmental and enterprises.
