Teaching
Dr. Hang teaches Economics and Accounting Basics for Journalists in the Global Business Journalism Program. She also teaches other graduate and undergraduate courses including Media Management and Economics and Media Leadership.
Biography
Hang is a full professor in media management and economics. She serves as the Associate Dean for International Development at the School of Journalism and Communication at Tsinghua University. She chairs Tsinghua Global Business Journalism Program (GBJ) and is the deputy director of the Media Management Research Center at Tsinghua University. She is also coordinating the East Asia Institute of Media Management and Transformation Center (MMTC-EA) of Jonkoping University, Sweden.
Hang holds a doctoral degree in Business Administration from Jonkoping University and a master's degree in European Business Administration and Business Law from Lund University, Sweden. She is the author of a number of academic publications on media management and economics, cultural industry studies, business journalism, and economic communications.
